Leaving the car behind, an array of National Trust paths and bridleways can lead you to Bossington beach and the charming villages of Porlock, Selworthy and Horner.
Exmoor National Park entices visitors with its rugged moorland, ancient woodlands, and enchanting wildlife including the famous Exmoor Ponies. Allerford itself boasts charming thatched cottages, a historic 15th-century packhorse bridge, and a welcoming village atmosphere. Additionally, local attractions include the South West Coast Path, the medieval village of Dunster with it’s famous Castle and the charming coastal town of Lynton & Lynmouth.
A short 5 minute drive away is the village of Porlock which hosts restaurants, pubs and a local shop. Within 5 miles is the seaside beach resort of Minehead with its many amenities.
We are perfectly situated for you to enjoy all that Exmoor and the South West of England has to offer. Whether it be participating in the many outdoor pursuits e.g. walking, horse riding, golfing, cycling, mountain biking, fishing or bird watching.
